Mary Jane Daniels

Mary Jane (Lintner) Daniels of Fairgrove, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at St. Mary's of Michigan in Saginaw, following a brief illness. Mary Jane was born June 10, 1937 In Saginaw County, the daughter of the late Herman and Linda (Liebknecht) Humpert. Mary Jane was a devoted mother and homemaker, who enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, canning, bird watching and her pets. Anyone who knew Mary Jane would say she had a smile that would light up a room and would comfort anyone. Mary Jane had a friendly, fun-loving spirit that touched anyone who met her. She loved spending time with family and friends. Mary Jane is survived by eight children, Debra Wheeler of Fairgrove, Frank Lintner (Kris Schenk) of Unionville, Sandra Wilson of Reese, Patrick Lintner of Fairgrove, Kevin Lintner of Caro, Jeff (Jacqueline) Lintner of Caro, Pamela (Boyd) Ramsey of Marlette, Wayne Daniels, Jr. of Mayville; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Rose Erdody of Vassar, Gerald Humpert of Hubbardston, Jim Humpert of Fairgrove, Sharon (John) Tobias of Essexville, Joe (Gloria) Humpert of Fairgrove; a former son-in-law, Dennis Wilson, Sr. of Caro; former sister-in-law, Elaine Daniels of Grand Blanc; an "adopted" grandson, Jason Maguire of Caro; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three newborn children, one infant son, James Dean Lintner; one infant daughter, "baby girl" Daniels; seven siblings, Wesley Liebknecht, Betty Jobson, Donnie, Herman, Roy and William Humpert and Linda Sue Coleman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. John Ladd officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove.
