Mary E. Farver

Mary E. Farver, age 83, passed away Monday afternoon, July19, at the Huron County Medical Care Facility, Bad Axe.
She was born in Detroit September 24, 1920, to the late Clarence and Eva (Nex) Raville.
On April 16,1966, she was united in marriage to Clifford L. Farver at the Elkton Methodist Church settling in Chandler Twp. and in 1973, Oak Beach. Mary worked as a legal secretary for several attorneys in the Detroit area until her marriage to Cliff. She worked at Active Industries for several years retiring in the early eighties.
Mary attended Elkton United Methodist Church, was a past member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary and the Sweet Adelines.
Surviving are her husband, Clifford, and two daughters, Carol (Joe) Kastura of Taylor and Jeanne Gregory of New Port Richey, FL; five grandchildren, Marianne, April, Laurie, Joe and Richard; seven great-grandchildren, Cody, Christopher, Zack, Eva, Kyle, Catherine and Jordan. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Gregory, and one great-grandson, Matthew.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, July 22, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Rev. Pete Crawford, pastor of the Elkton United Methodist Church will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Memorials may be given to the Huron County Medical Care Facility or to Heartland Hospice.
Visitation will be Wednesday 2 to 9 PM and after 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home .
