Mary Ann Gulch

Mary Ann Gulch, 79, of Caseville, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Mary was born September 15, 1933 in Benton, Missouri to the late George and Ora (Zinath) Diamond. She married Andrew Gulch and he preceded her in death on August 25, 2003; Mary dying on the tenth anniversary of his death.

Upon her husband’s death, she moved from Clinton Twp to Caseville to be near her sister–in-law. She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church and a former member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary. She liked music, especially country music, and spending time with her beloved pets. Mary very much enjoyed living at Courtney Manor, from her new friends, to the staff and activities.

She is survived by her granddaughter Andrea (Chuck) Tiffany of Maple City; great-granddaughters Nicole Heath and Barbara (Billy) Wells; great-great-grandson Dakota; sister-in-law Victoria “Vicki’ (Raymond) Nowak of Caseville; and nieces Fern (Patrick) Schreikenlery and Norma Kidd.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at St. Roch Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be Thursday at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Twp.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am Wednesday until the time of the mass at church. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Courtney Manor Family Council or the church.
