Mary Kuehne was received into the arms of her Lord, on Sunday, August 14, 2005. at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility at the age of 91. Mary was born December 8, 1913, in Kansas; the daughter of Agnes and Joseph Lapak. They moved to Gagetown when Mary was a young child. She lived there until marrying Henry F. Kuehne, in Sebewaing, on December 19, 1931. They resided in Bach until moving to Caro in 1958, where they owned and operated Kuehnes Market east of Caro until their retirement in 1968. Mary always had a very large garden and loved growing things. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro. She was predeceased by her husband of forty-four years, Henry F. Kuehne; two daughters, Marian Kuehne and Kathleen Kuehne; two brothers, John Lapak and Alfred Lapak; four sisters, Pauline Brandt, Margaret Lapak, Frances Golis and Agnes Turner. Surviving are two sons, one daughter and their spouses; Richard and Ollie Kuhne of Tallahassee, Florida, Rhonda and Earl King of Kingston, Henry C. and Renita Kuhne of Quanicassee; six grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Joseph Lapak of Lake City, Richard Lapak of Reese, Bernard Lapak of Reese, Andrew Lapak and his wife Sally of Birch Run; many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held: AT: St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro ON: Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. WITH: Pastor Cameron Steele, officiating Burial will be: AT: Ellington Township Cemetery ON: Wednesday, August 17, 2005 Visitation will be: AT: Collon Funeral Home ON: Tuesday, August 16, 2005, from 1:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. AND: At the Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Endowment Fund
