Mary "Vickie" Thomas

Mary “Vickie” V. Thomas age 60 of Grant Twp. near Cass City passed away Friday morning, April 7, at Covenant Harrison, Saginaw with her family by her bedside.

She was born June 18, 1956, in Flint to the late Ethridge and Merrilyn (Burch) Stephens. Vickie graduated for Flint Northern High School in 1974. She and James L Thomas were united in marriage on September 20, 1986 at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Flint.

Vickie had been employed at several retail and convenience store in Flint including K-Mart and Seven Eleven. She was force into retirement at an early age for health reasons.  In 2009, she and Jim moved to Grant Twp. to look after Jim’s mother until her passing. Jim preceded her in death February 25 ^th of last year.

Surviving are her siblings, Joyce (Michael) Stout of Grant Twp., Ethridge “Mike” Stephens of Gladwin, Alberta Hylton of Gladwin and Tom Stevens of Flint and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Monday, April 10 at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 10:30 until the time of services.
