Mary Viola

Mary A. Viola, passed away peacefully at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility on June 17, 2007, at the age of 86 years. She was born in Conneaut, Ohio. Her family then moved to Detroit where she later met and married Angelo J. Viola and together they raised three children. After living most of her life in the city, she became a country lady moving to Caro after her husband passed away. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother and her husband. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Annette Smith of Caro, Pat (Pete) Gregor of Caro and Tom (Janet) Viola of Bedford, Texas; seven grandchildren and spouses, Don (Jen) Smith of Lake Orion, John (Amy) Gregor of Caro, Carol Smith of Ferndale, Cindy (Tim) Harris of Saginaw, Rachel (Edward) Kirschman of Centennial, Colorado, Philip (Kimberly) Viola of North Richland Hills, Texas and Dave Gregor of Cass City; five great-grandchildren, Ryan Wilson, Allison Gregor, Morgan Viola, Amber Viola and Elayne Kirschman. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk officiating. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will be held on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Caro. Memorials may be made to the Forget-Me-Not at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.
