Mason Nash Turner, born on October 9, 2013, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 9, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Mason, a bright light whose silly smile, energetic spirit, and enormous heart touched everyone blessed to know him. At just 12 years old, Mason faced a battle no child should ever have to fight. He took on his fight with courage, strength, and a faith that inspired everyone around him. While we desperately wished for a different ending to his earthly game, God called Mason home.
Mason loved deeply and lived fully. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend who treasured his family more than words could ever express.
He had a way of making people laugh, bringing energy into every room, and making even ordinary moments unforgettable. We know Mason is now running freely, laughing, shooting hoops, and playing for Team Jesus.
His laugh, his silliness, his energy, his determination, and his giant heart will forever be a part of the people who knew him. Mason may not have gotten the ending to his earthly game that we prayed for, but this is not the end of his story.
Mason leaves to cherish his memory, his most loving parents, Mike and Lindsay (Adams) Turner. He was the best little brother of Wyatt Turner and the most beloved grandson of Ron and Deb (Curtis) Adams and Bruce and Tina (Monville) Turner. Mason loved spending time with his aunts and uncle, Lisa Adams, Joe and Kira Turner; and was the best cousin to Logan, Jaxon, and Racelyn Hopper, and Taylen and Treyson Turner. He was surrounded by the love of many great-aunts and great-uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.
The final buzzer sounded here….but Mason’s victory has just begun.
He is healed. He is free. He is home. And someday, when our own earthly game is finished, we’ll see him again.
Until then, save us a spot on the team, Mason. ❤️🏀
