Maylen Skinner

Maylen (Dan) Skinner, Sr., age 66, of Caro passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. He was born on June 20, 1941 in Cass City and lived all of his life in Tuscola County. Dans working life was with Pontiac Motors in Pontiac, Michigan. He enjoyed the out-of-doors where he was involved in hunting and fishing. Dan also liked restoring old cars and was a great cook. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Gooding) Skinner; five children and their spouses; several grandchildren; as well as his siblings. His was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alfred. The family will honor Dans life with a private time of remembrance. In accordance with Dans wishes, his body has been donated to the University of Michigan Medical School. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dan Skinner, Sr. family discretionary fund c/o Chris Taylor at the Collon Funeral Home, 302 S. State St., Caro, MI 48723.
