Melissa C. Matuszak

Melissa C. Matuszak, age 46, of Owendale, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Melissa was born August 10, 1971, in Cass City, the daughter of George and Alicia (Castillo) Erenfejcht. She graduated from USA High School in 1989, and graduated with her Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1994 from Baker College in Flint. After college, she married Lance Matuszak on October 5, 1996. She loved listening to music, gardening, flowers, fishing, playing pool, camping, volunteering, and being with her family.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Lance; children: Alex Matuszak, Greyson Matuszak and Izabela Matuszak; mother, Alicia (the late George) Erenfejcht; granddaughter, Sophia Matuszak; siblings: Ernest (Christi) Garcia, Christine Garcia and Raquel (Jeff) Erenfejcht-Hales; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial visitation will take place Friday, March 23, 2018, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, from 2-8pm.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
