Melva Jean Forman

Melva Jean Forman, 74, of Caseville, died at home Monday, January 8, 2018.

Melva was born December 7, 1943 in Cass City, the seventh of thirteen children to the late James and Leota (Deneen) Nickerson.  She married Carl Forman February 8, 1964 at the Caseville Methodist Church; he preceded her in death February 12, 2001.

Melva previously worked for the Caseville Laundromat for many years.  She treasured spending time with her  family, she was especially devoted to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Troy (Lori) of Caro, Lorie (Kirk) Pennell of Akron, Tammy (Alan) LeValley of Pigeon, Kyle (Jeanette) of Caseville and Chad (Bonnie) of Pigeon; grandchildren Carl Forman, Miranda Forman Toner, Krissy Forman Wiggins, Izabelle Pennell, George Pennell, Kylie Forman, Trenton Forman, Derek Forman, Austin Forman, Cameron Speare, Olivia Speare and Jacob Speare; great-grandchildren Hailey Forman, Chloe Forman, Payton Toner, Finnley Toner and Everly Wiggins.  She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Clare Alexandra Forman.

Funeral services will be at 6:00pm Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton with Rev. Karen Bouverette.  Cremation will follow with an urn burial in the spring at Caseville Twp. Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Thursday and continue until the service time at 6:00pm.
