Michael Anthony Bidolli

Michael Anthony Bidolli, 69, of Caseville, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at his home while under hospice care.

Mike was born October 19, 1942 in Detroit to Michael J. and Ann (Stagle) Bidolli. He graduated from St. Mary High School, Royal Oak, in 1960. He served in the US Army as an MP from 1960 to 1963, having been stationed for two years in Ethiopia. On November 27, 1964 he married Joan C. Liebler in Toledo, Ohio.

In 1998 he retired from GM Hydromatic in Warren and moved to Caseville from Sterling Heights. He was a member of St. Roch, the Knights of Columbus, and the Caseville Eagles. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and golf.

He is survived by his wife Joan; son Michael C. of Sterling Heights; mother Ann of Royal Oak; and sister AnnMarie (Norm) Bidolli-Clark of Caseville.

He was preceded in death by his father Michael J. Bidolli.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Saturday, October 29th at St. Roch Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pare Presiding. Military honors will be provided by the Caseville American Legion. Urn interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly on November 3rd.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. He will lie in-state from 10 am Saturday until the time of the mass in church. There will be a Knights of Columbus Rosary 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Pall bearers will be Ken Fry, Chuck McElreath, Jerry Montecillo and Norm Clark.

Memorials may be made the St. Roch Building Fund.
