Michael Degrace

Michael Angelus DeGrace of Caro, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 15, 2014. He was born May 26, 1955 in Bay City, the son of the late Thomas and Rita (Langa) DeGrace. Mike graduated from high school and college in San Jose, California and moved back to Michigan approximately twenty-eight years ago, coming to Caro in the mid 1990's. He was the president of DeGrace & Associates and involved in computer repair. Mike was active in parish administrative activities at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Frances X. Cabrini Parish, and most recently at St. Roch Parish in Caseville. In addition to his church activities, he was employed at the Caro Packing Company. Michael is survived by his dearest friend and her children, Marge Biebel of Caro, Mark Biebel of Caro, Lisa Biebel of West Virginia; his siblings, Floyd DeGrace of Bay City, Joseph & Deborah DuPree of Caro, Carol & Richard Simpson of Bay City, Steven DeGrace of Soquel, California, and Noel DeGrace of California; a brother-in-law, Len Indelicato of Henderson, Nevada; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro with Rev. Fr. Rob Par celebrant and Rev. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk co-celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Wilmot. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Roch Parish in Caseville.
