Michael J. Eurich

Michael J. Eurich of Fairgrove, age 74, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born January 17, 1946 in Bay City, the son of the late Carl and Claudine (Nixon) Eurich. He graduated from Akron-Fairgrove High School with the class of 1964 and worked at General Motors in Saginaw as a millwright, retiring after thirty-three years of employment. Mike loved woodworking, working in his yard, and had an extensive knife and classic model car collection. Most importantly, he loved spending time with family. Mike is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Kay Eurich; two sons and their spouses, Paul & Mary Eurich of Liberty, South Carolina, and Adam & Jennifer Eurich of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Kari Wright, Tiffany McGuire, Colton Eurich, Katelin Shannon, Logan Eurich and Brooke Eurich; great-grandchildren, Skyla, Easton, and Karson Wright, Landon and Callen McGuire, Lillian and James Eurich, Harper and Ryder Shannon; and his siblings and their spouses, Judy & Wayne Anderson of Sanford, Tom & Sarah Eurich of Unionville, and Amy Eurich of Suffolk, Virginia. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one son, Scott Eurich. In keeping with Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held during the summer of 2021 at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove.
