Michael William Farver, age 57, of Caseville, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Brian’s House in Bay City.

Mike was born November 22, 1951 in Pigeon to the late William and Georgina (Danyluk) Farver. He graduated from Caseville High School in 1970. He was employed as a technician for John Deere at Gettel Farm implement in Pigeon. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and his Harley Davidson. In his younger years he flew airplanes with his uncle out of Farver Field in Caseville, skied and scuba dived, and did powerlifting as “Mike’s Power Train.”

Surviving are his wife Pamela; children Tonya (Matt) Mandich of Indiana, Tim (Shelly) Farver of Essexville and Tenielle (Ryan) Farver of Bad Axe; grandchildren Gabriel, Isaac, Isabella, Isaiah and Keagan; brothers Patrick and William of Pigeon; and best friend Larry DeSloover.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, August 30th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Brad Gniewek of the Novesta Church of Christ officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Sunday until the time of the service at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated to help with recent expenses.

The family would like to thank Caretel Inns and Brian’s House for their loving care in his last days.
