Michael John Loeffler, age 62, of Sebewaing, passed away at his home on August 21, 2021, after a long and hard battle with cancer.
Mike was born August 29, 1958, to Donald and Vernita (Gibbs) Loeffler. He married the love of his life, and wife of 41 years, Carol Gremel, on December 8, 1979, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kilmanagh. Mike was extremely hard working, loving, and a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He loved fishing, especially with his family and grandchildren at his pond, making delicious grilled and smoked foods, deer hunting at the cabin, gardening, and tinkering on various projects. Mike could make just about anything, and was especially good at making his family laugh. But, it was his laugh that could always be heard from across the room.
Mike is survived by his wife, Carol; children: Aaron (Charissa) Loeffler, Christopher (Justine) Loeffler, Brian (Kelsey) Loeffler and Hannah (Ryan) LaFave; grandchildren: Elijah, Alana, Ethan, Westin, Shea and Beau; parents: Don and Vernita Loeffler; siblings: Gary Loeffler, Bruce (Carol) Loeffler, Michele (Jerry) Harbuck, Renee (Bill) Dickson; mother-in-law, Charline Gremel; brothers-in-law: Steve (Patti) Gremel, James (Cindy) Gremel; sisters-in-law: Connie (Doug) Steele and Sandra Olson; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ralph Gremel.
