Michael Robert Lombardi

Michael Robert Lombardi, 49, of Bad Axe, formerly of Roseville and Auburn Hills, died Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at McLaren Bay Hospital in Bay City due to complications of a stroke he suffered last year.

Mike was born August 23, 1972 in Detroit to the late Michael and Kathleen (Nyquist) Lombardi.  He graduated from Rochester High School in 1990.  Michael took great pride in his work ethic, whether he was working as a computer programmer or detailing cars.  He enjoyed cooking (the spicier, the better), being with his family and Ford Mustangs.

Michael is survived by his son Nicolas of Bad Axe and he was "Uncle Monkey" to his beloved niece Jillian Lander of Georgia, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his younger brother Craig, as well as his grandparents.  Mike treasured the unconditional love of his two cats Donut and Hitch, as well as his pet snake, Manda.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.

A private celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date.

Champagne Funeral Chapel of Pigeon is handling the arrangements.
