Michael Lee Muscat of Brighton, age 21, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at his home, in Howell.
Michael was born February 20, 2003 in Flint, with the biggest heart and best smile. Michael was the beloved son of Michael and Julie (Landau) Muscat. He graduated from Brighton High School with the class of 2021 and went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. Following the Army, Michael worked as a mechanic, which was his true passion. He was happiest working on cars, listening to classic rock music, and being around friends.
Michael loved old cars and recently bought a 1966 Impala he was in the process of restoring and liked driving it home to show off his hard work. He adored his nephews, Noah and Brennan who were more like brothers to him. Michael enjoyed trips to the beach in Caseville and was the most at ease riding his Harley Davidson. He had a huge heart and there was always a special place in it for children. Michael lit up when he was able to help kids or anyone in need. He was the most amazing and loving son, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Michael & Julie; grandparents, Sue Landau and Jack & Candy Muscat; aunts and uncles, Ken & Sue Muscat, Jo & Dwayne Sims, Steve & Leslie Muscat, and Jim & Cathie Landau; cousins, Nick & Ashley Muscat, Tony & Kyra Muscat, Krista & Chris Casey, Hannah Sims, Luke Sims, and Matthew Muscat; nephews, Noah Weikart and Brennan Hart; along with many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Landau
A memorial service is being planned for the summer. Unfortunately, at this time, the family cannot accept flower donations. Those planning to donate, please consider contributing to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Michael’s name.
