Michael William Rokicki

Michael William Rokicki, 59, of Caseville, peacefully lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his home under hospice care.

Mike was born April 25, 1957 in Highland Park to Mae (Adolph) and the late Richard Rokicki. He grew up in Roseville, graduating from Roseville High School in 1975. He moved to the Thumb in 1985 when he began his 32-year career at Active Industries in Elkton (now Tower International). He was a very hard worker and dedicated to his job.

Mike and Marsha (Mann) Schember were married February 11, 1988. He became an instant step-father to Jeff and Jodi; he was a wonderful parent and a great influence on their lives. Mike was a member of the Caseville Eagles and Port Austin American Legion. He loved his family and friends, camping, playing cards, going to casinos, road trips, the Detroit Tigers and U of M Football. He has left us all with great memories and lots to laugh about. He will be greatly missed and was dearly loved by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Marsha; step-children Jeff Schember of Caro and Jodi Emming of Palms; grandson Eli Emming; mother Mae Rokicki of Port Austin; brother Rick (Janet) Rokicki of Elkton and sister Lori (Dan) Halapi of Chesterfield; father-in-law and mother-in-law Dale and Helene Mann of Snover; brother-in-law Dave (Jane) Mann of Snover and sister-in-law Patty (Don) Molloy of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Richard.

Mike requested no services but wanted his friends and family to remember all the good times and to celebrate his life; reflecting back on all the wonderful memories he left with us. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements.
