Michael John Staley

Michael John Staley of Caro, age 64, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Ascension Saint Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, following a brief illness. Michael was born January 18, 1958 in Detroit, the son of the late Raymond and Joanne (Joly) Staley. He graduated from high school in Novi and went on to work as a crane operator at Connelly Crane, retiring in 2013. It was in high school that Michael met the love of his life, the former Susan Nagy. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on April 1, 1978. Michael was a member of Union Local 324 and greatly enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to go camping and was always at peace when he was up north. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of forty-four years, Susan; children, Donna Sue (Jon) West and Michael Staley; grandchildren, Jonathan, Evan, Amanda, Willow, and Orion West, Lucas, Cameron, Nathan, and Logan Staley; and several friends. In keeping with Michael's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
