Micheal Michalski

Micheal Scott Michalski, age 22, of Caro, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on January 31, 1987 in Cass City to James and Lori (Haley) Michalski. Micheal was a lifelong resident of the Thumb and graduated from Caro High School. He then entered the Army of the United States and recently received his honorable discharge. He was a week from going to truck driving school. During his time in the service, Micheal went to boot camp in Fort Knox, Kentucky, AIT in Missouri and trained as a truck driver, and stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana until his discharge. He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, dry wall application, roofing, and hanging with his buddies. He is survived by his parents, James and Lori Michalski of Caro; two brothers, Aaron and Brian Michalski of Caro; his great-grandmother, Ordean Michalski of Ubly; his aunt and uncles, Charlene (James) Rowe of Caro, Robert (Mary) Haley of Deford, Greg (Kim) Michalski of Deford, Jeff (Theresa) Michalski of Webberville and Kathy (James) Schram of Cass City; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Haley, Evelyn Haley, John and Margaret Michalski, and his great-grandfather, Raymond Michalski. The memorial service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at11:00 a.m. with Chris Taylor facilitating. In accordance with family wishes, Micheal will be cremated. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
