Michelle Lee Metro

Michelle Lee Metro of Ypsilanti, age 37, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti. Michelle was born October 9, 1982 in Caro, the daughter of Nellie (Martin) Miller and the late Michael Jobson, and was a graduate of Caro High School class of 2001. She was employed in food service the majority of her life, with her last job being manager at Subway. Michelle enjoyed shopping and cooking, and will be best remembered for being an amazing mother, sister, aunt and great-aunt. Michelle is survived by her two daughters, Rochelle and Roslynn Robinson; her mother, Nellie Miller of Atlanta; step-mother, Joy Burner of Gladwin; five siblings, Robert & Tracie Miller of Highland, Adam and Kendra Miller of Cass City, Bonnie Metro-Stewart and Mark Stewart of Ypsilanti, Dwayne Metro of Howell, Anthony & Rachel Parrish of Fairgrove; three step-siblings, Alan, Danny and Becky Lane; several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece or nephew on the way. In addition to her father, Michelle was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Parrish; and one niece, Faith Kay Plowman. In keeping with Michelle's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2992 Cass City Road, Cass City, MI 48726.
