Mildred Millerwise

Mildred J. Millerwise, age 94 of Sebewaing died Thursday evening, December 4, 2014 at Medallion Village following a brief illness.

She was born Nov. 24, 1920 daughter of the late James and Edith (Darling) Joy.
She was united in marriage to Paul A. Millerwise on April10, 1942 in Flint. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2003. She had lived in Mt. Morris until moving to Sebewaing in
1936.

Mildred was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing. She also was a member of a bridge club, couples club, was a cub scout den mother, played golf , enjoyed conversation, cooking, fishing and was all about family, faith and friends.

Surviving are one daughter, 3 sons and spouses; Mary (Terry) Peterson, Woodlands, TX;
John (Sharon) Millerwise, Pinconning, David Millerwise, Chelsea, Michael (Karen) Millerwise, Chandler, AZ; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by one son, Thomas Millerwise, one sister, Janet Gallow; 2 brothers, Robert Joy, James Joy Jr.
The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing. Rev. Cindy Parsons will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Trinity United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
