Milton S. “Butch” Nehring, 78 of Bad Axe, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Vadavilla AFC in Unionville.
Butch was born December 5, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Martin and Inez (Pieffle) Nehring. He moved to Michigan in 1964. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a former member of the Elkton Jaycee’s and Elkton Ambulance. He loved spending time with his family.
Butch is survived by his children Lori (Jeff) Rifenbark of Bad Axe and Julie (Mike) Weiderhold of Elkton; grandchildren Alan, Adam, Aaron, Crystal, Faith (Johnny), Julia and Mary; great-granddaughter Kinzee; sister Kathleen Krug and brother Clifford (Lori) Nehring; the mother of his daughters Sharon Nehring of Owendale. He was preceded in death by his step-mother Margaret and brother-in-law Norman Krug.
A celebration of life will be 11:00am Saturday, July 10th at Thumb Billies, 130 N. Farver Road, Elkton. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
