Milton Wright

Milton E. Wright, age 91, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro following a period of declining health. Milton was born November 28, 1921 in Caro, the son of the late Carey and Gertrude (Coones) Wright. On March 17, 1945 he was united in marriage with the former Myrtle Thane in Caro. Milton was employed at the Caro Regional Center from 1946 until his retirement in 1976. His jobs were varied, but for most of that time he was a truck driver. Milton enjoyed attending the state retirement get-togethers as well as riding horses and talking to his collection of farm animals. He is survived by his wife of over sixty-seven years, Myrtle M. Wright of Caro; six children and their spouses, Ron & Linda Wright of Caro, Sandy & Dennis McCrumb of Vassar, Gary & Deb Wright of Caro, Rusty & Denise Wright of Texas, Jacqie Angeline and her special friend, Jerry Burek, of Arizona, Scott & Tina Wright of Texas; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Milton was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Wright; and a sister, Ina Keilitz. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. Burial will follow at the Ellington Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
