Mitchell John Zollner

Mitchell J. Zollner, 82, of Caseville, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Huron County Medical Care in Bad Axe.

Mitch was born November 25, 1939 in Detroit to the late John and Virginia (Fabinski) Zollner. He served in the US Navy for 4 years aboard the USS Henley and USS Hank. He married Sharon Reising on April 20, 1979 in St. Clair Shores. Mitch owned Crescent Beach Machine for 30 years. In retirement he enjoyed classic car shows, camping, and traveling the country for Navy reunions. He was member of the Caseville Eagles FOE and Port Austin/Bad Axe VFW.

Mitch is survived by his wife Sharon; children John Henry (Millie) of Kalamazoo, Carrie (Jason) Hansen of Grand Rapids, and Cindy of Missouri; granddaughter Amanda (Austin); great-granddaughters Peyton and Violet; step-grandchildren Greg, Kelly, Alicia, John, and Shawn; and step-great-grandchildren Lacey, Krystal, Joshua, and Zack. He was preceded in death by his sister Theresa Clark.

A memorial luncheon will be 1:00pm Friday, August 26th at the Caseville Eagles Club, 7017 E. Park Street, Caseville. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
