Mona Hepfer

Mona L. Hepfer, age 74, passed away at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw on Sunday, December 28, 2008, following a brief illness. Mona was born August 14, 1934 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of the late John & Molly Mann. She was united in marriage with Robert Hepfer on December 2, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas, and moved to the Caro area in 1970. She was employed at the Caro Regional Center for about twenty-five years, retiring in 1997. Mona was a member of the Third Christian Church in Kansas. She enjoyed being with and caring for her pet cats. Mona is survived by her husband of over fifty-two years, Robert Hepfer of Caro; two sons and their spouses, James & Rita Hepfer of Caro, Gerald & Ann Hepfer of Mayville; two grandsons, Jeremy and Tim Hepfer of Mayville; three brothers and their wives, Dan & Margaret Mann of Orlando, Florida, Dick & Lydia Mann of Kansas City, Missouri, Jim & Melody Mann of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister and her husband, Mary & Dan Jackson of Topeka, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.
