Monna Lee "Monnie" Holmes

Monna Lee "Monnie" Holmes of Caro, age 55, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 23, 2018 at her home. Monnie was born March 31, 1962 in Flint, the daughter of the late Mona Irene Miller and Earl Miller. She was united in marriage with Randy L. Holmes on September 30, 1989 in Akron, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2012. Monnie suffered many health problems and was on a dialysis for kidney failure for the past five years. Monnie is survived by her children, Steven, Travis, Tylor and Megan Holmes, all of Caro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several sisters. In keeping with Monnie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Caro VFW Post #4164, 1030 West Caro Road, Caro, MI.
