Muriel Gould

Muriel Gould, age 84, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 16, 2007 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. Muriel was born August 10, 1923 in Williams, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Wyley Ila C. (Victor) Butler, coming to Michigan in the mid-1940s. She was united in marriage to Franklin R. Gould on June 1, 1960 in Pontiac. They moved to the Kingston-Deford area in 1980. When living in the Pontiac area, Muriel was employed at Community National Bank for twenty-four years. Muriel enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and their great grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Frank Gould of Deford; one son, Jim (Regina) Pearson of Clarkston; one grandson, James Pearson of Waterford; one granddaughter, Julie Pearson of Caro; four great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother, Mary (Cloice) Clay, Jim (Nancy) Butler all of Poteau, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Muriel was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Fred and Art Butler and Mildred Covy.
