Nancy Andrews

Nancy Marie Andrews, age 84, of Caro, formerly of Petersburg, Virginia died on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. The former Nancy Hudock was born on December 15, 1926 in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. The former Nancy Hudock married LTC Albert E. Andrews, USA Retired on September 4, 1948 in Washington DC. He preceded her in death in 1973. Nancy was a mother, wife, and homemaker and lived in Virginia until eight years ago when she moved to Caro. She was a lifelong attendee of Washington Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg, Virginia. Nancy enjoyed playing golf. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Riley of Caro; six grandchildren, Jason (Nichol) Andrews, and Jamie (David) Crawford, and their mother, Debbie Townsend; Michelle Riley, Jackie Riley, Jay Riley, Jill Riley, and their father, John Riley; her great-grandchildren, Matthew and Anna Andrews; one brother, George (Joan) Hudock; a special niece, Cecelia (Tilton) Alexander; and her remaining nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Albert E. “Andy” Andrews II in 2000; and the remainder of her siblings. According to Nancys wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service and burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation at the Collon Funeral Home. In lieu of memorials, a donation may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association of Michigan.
