Nancy Elaine Begg

Nancy Elaine Begg, 83, of Pigeon, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Nancy was born June 2, 1934 in Detroit to the late Victor and Beatrice (Hanna) Heinrich.  She graduated from Denby High School in Detroit in 1952.  She married Donald Begg May 31, 1957 in Detroit.

She retired from Commerce Bank.  In 1988 she moved from Warren to Caseville, then to Pigeon in 2008.  She was a member of the Pigeon Red Hatters and Scheurer Hospital Auxiliary.  She enjoyed quilting and gospel music.

She is survived by her husband Don; children Gail of Pigeon, Sandy (Paul) Lanuzza of Pigeon, Bruce (Marieanne) of Filion and Corey of Port Huron; grandchildren Stewart, Cameron, Kristopher, Thomas “TJ,” and Justin; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother Paul (Takeko) Heinrich of Grindstone City.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Saturday, January 13 ^th at Pigeon First United Methodist Church with Rev. Cindy Gibbs officiating.   Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
