Nancy Jickling

Nancy L. Jickling, age 61, of Fairgrove passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Bay Regional Medical Center, Bay City. She was born on April 22, 1946 in Marlette to the late Kenneth W. Jickling and Geneva (Oberlee) Jickling Dennis. She was a resident of rural Marlette and traveled to Flint to attend and graduate from Flint Northern High School. Although limited in some ways by her muscular dystrophy, she enjoyed arts and crafts at HDC, shopping, and doing crossword puzzles. Much of her time was involved with travel on the Thumbody Express and going out to meals. She occasionally attended the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her parents, Geneva (Bob) Dennis of Caro; her siblings, Janet (Rodney) Cramer of Bradenton, Florida, Kathy (Jack) Matuszak of Caro and Tom (Robyn) Jickling of Oxford; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Jickling. In accordance with Nancys wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held. There will be neither visitation nor services at the Collon Funeral Home.
