Nancy K. Katzinger

Nancy K. Katzinger , age 87, of Unionville, passed away November 5, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region.

Nancy was born in Almont Township on June 9, 1934, to Joseph and Ruth (Bolzman) Gonda. She married Frank Katzinger on August 30, 1963. Nancy enjoyed dancing, puzzles, going to rummage sales, bird watching, scratch off tickets, cats, playing the piano, fiddle and xylophone, singing, gardening and canning.

Nancy is survived by her children: Alice (Mel Ross) Ashmore, Betty Lou Rice, Gary (Debbie) Katzinger, Randy (Pam) Katzinger, Linda (Cristine Kwak) Rodriguez, Joseph (Lynn) Rodriguez, David (Debra) Rodriguez, Terry Rodriguez, Becky Katzinger and Cheryl (Joe) Bippus; sister-in-law, Dee Gonda; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank, son-in-law, Carl Rice; siblings, Clifford Gonda and Janet Ellis; and 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Her son-in-law, Joe Bippus will be officiating.

Burial will be in Tuscola Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be given to the family (c/o Terry Rodriguez).
