Nancy Laney

Nancy Jean Laney, age 79, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro. She was born March 14, 1933 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Neer) Snider. The former Nancy Jean Snider was united in marriage with Syd Laney and they celebrated twenty-three years of marriage prior to his preceding her in death. Nancy was employed for nineteen years in housekeeping at the Oakdale Center in Lapeer, and for fourteen years at Saginaw Industries for the Blind. Nancy is survived by many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Brenda Caruthers of Vassar. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Pastor Dave Wilczynski of Anchor Cove Outreach Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the charity of the donors choice.
