Nancy Romain

Nancy Ann Romain, age 55, of Akron died at her home surrounded by her family Tuesday evening, December 2, 2014 following an extended illness.
She was born February 17, 1959 in Bay City, daughter of Shirley I. (Davis) McDonald and the late Leslie A. McDonald.
Nancy had been employed at the former Golden Mushroom Restaurant in Akron, the Akron-Fairgrove School System, Akron Township, Clints and more recently Halie's in Akron for several years.
She enjoyed crocheting, helping in the community in every way possible and especially loved her granddaughters, Michaela, Mackenzie and grandson, Tristan.
Surviving are her daughter, Teri (Tracy) Nusz, Akron; mother, Shirley McDonald, Akron; granddaughters, Michaela, Mackenzie, grandson, Tristan; also an uncle and aunts, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie McDonald in 1992.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Rev. Richard Lawther will officiate with cremation to follow at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Sebewaing from 10:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
