Naomi M. Bach, of Bay Port, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe.

Naomi was born August 25, 1931, in Bay Port, to the late Floyd and Bessie (Kohl) Deming. She worked 32 years as a cook for the Bay Port Hotel. Naomi enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bingo, playing cards, watching the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, and attending services at the Baptist Churches. Her feistiness will be missed by many.

Naomi is survived by her children: Susan Herman-Perry of Pigeon and Edward (Patricia) Bach of Pheonix, Arizona; grandchildren: Mark Wisneski, Jodi Burkhard, Nicole Mitchell, Lenee' McDonald, Anthony Bach and Eric Bach; 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Audrey Rinnert, Elaine (Robert) Engelhardt and Sandra (Michael) Romain.

Naomi is preceded in death by her husbands: Fred Herman and Frank Bach; son, Leslie Dean Herman; and brother, Leslie "Butch" Deming.

The funeral service will be Monday, April 11, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 12 noon. Pastor Jay Barselou will be officiating from the First Baptist Church in Bad Axe.

Memorial donations may be given to First Baptist Church in Bad Axe or the charity of your choice.
