Naomi "Jean" Graham

Naomi "Jean" Graham of Caro, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Jean was born December 14, 1939 in Alma, the daughter of Rosella (Smith) Lehner and the late Rev. Paul Lehner. She worked as an LPN for Hills & Dales General Hospital in Cass City and for Thumb Area Commission on Aging before taking a position as the nutrition director for Human Development Commission. In 1988, she founded Timberline Lodge in Caro with her aunt and uncle, Don and Carol Smith, and served as co-owner and administrator for more than twenty years until her retirement in 2009, when she continued to act as a consultant for the business. Jean enjoyed scrapbooking, beadwork, cooking and caring for her family. Jean is survived by one daughter, Sharon Tomaselli and her husband, Chris, of Goodrich; one grandson, Matthew Graham of Goodrich; one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Graham of Goodrich; her mother, Rosella Lehner of Caro; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Colwood United Brethren Church in Caro with Rev. Dr. Jason Garwood officiating. A private committal service will take place at Almer Township Cemetery.
