Nathaniel Zamora

Nathaniel Ricardo Zamora, age 23, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident in Akron. He was born October 22, 1988 in Saginaw, the son of Ricardo and Debra (Gibas) Zamora. Nathaniel was a 2006 graduate of Akron-Fairgrove High School and worked as a deliveryman for Sears for the past two years. Nathaniel loved his guitar and played for the band TOX1C NIXON. He also enjoyed cars and always made sure that they had a good audio system. His kind and gentle spirit would lead children and animals to be drawn to him, and he was the keeper of a great deal of “useless” knowledge. Nathaniel is survived by his parents, Ricardo & Debra Zamora of Akron; one brother, Logan Zamora of Akron, his grandparents, Maria Zamora of Akron, and Robert & Brenda (Osborn) Gibas of Fairgrove; one great-grandmother, Ella “Helen” Osborn of Columbiaville; several special aunts and uncles, Elena Zamora of Akron, Ramon Zamora, Jr. of Caro, Hernando Zamora of Akron, Uvence Zamora of Akron, plus many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; his best friends, Travis, Derrick, Jessie and Kyle; and a special “nephew”, Sulley. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ramon Zamora in 1999; and an uncle, Robert Zamora in 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel L. Gonder officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. The family will receive friends at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Zamora Family Discretionary Fund.
