Nora Kebler, age 77 years, of Luder Road, Caro, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at her home. She was born on January 10, 1929 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Leonard and Teresa (Page) Reiman. Nora was a graduate of Jackson High School. She married Don Kebler on August 9, 1952 in Jackson. She was an elementary school teacher, having taught Fourth Grade at Schall Elementary School. Teaching was her favorite hobby, however, she also enjoyed flowers and sewing. Traveling out west to the Black Hills and the Rocky Mountains was something she will never forget. She was known for her love of the great outdoors and all of nature, and well known for her extensive collection of elephant related items. She was a devoted wife and mother, and will be greatly missed by her family. She was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church. Nora is survived by her husband, Don; two sons Kevin (Ginger) Kebler of Rock Island, Illinois and Gregg (Susan) Kebler of French Town, New Jersey; two sisters-in-law, Katherine Cottrell and Marylyn Reiman; as well as five nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Reiman. There will be no visitation or services at the Collon Funeral Home. There will be a private family visitation with cremation following. Memorials may be made to the charity of donors choice.
