Norman Emmons

Norman J. Emmons, 53, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 17, 2006 at his home. He was born March 17, 1953 in Cass City, the son of Norman E. & Martha (Whidden) Emmons, and was a lifelong area resident. He was united in marriage to Vikki Lynn Zsolczai on May 20, 1999 in Deford. Norman was a member of the Nazarene faith. He loved to plant flowers, especially roses, and tending his garden. He also enjoyed being independent as much as his injuries would allow following a motorcycle accident in 1971. Norman is survived by his wife, Vikki Lynn Emmons of Caro; one son, Gary Emmons of Saginaw; his mother, Martha Emmons of Cass City; four brothers, three sisters and their spouses, Richard Emmons of Cass City, Bernard & Carol Emmons of Lolita, TX, Ruth Ann & Noel Lloyd of Millington, Eileen & Dennis Rievert of Gagetown, Leonard & Linda Emmons of Catoosa, OK, John & Brenda Emmons of Mayville, Betty Lou Mayberry of Cass City and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Edward Emmons in 1978; by a daughter Rebecca in 1991 and a sister, Shirley May Emmons in 1964.
