Norman G. Hotton, age 75, of Sand Point, died at his home March 18, 2006 while under the care of Heartland Hospice of cancer.
Norman was born March 25, 1930 in Detroit to the late Camille and Antonia (Bourget) Hotton. He married Maryann Hall of Detroit on September 9, 1950. She preceded him in death on February 18, 1965. He married Dolores Przybylo of Warren on August 16, 1974 in Sterling Heights.
Norman worked in the automotive field in the Detroit area for his entire career. He retired to a home he had built on Sand Point in 1999, after having vacationed in the area since the 1950's. He enjoyed building, fishing, boating and making stained glass.
Norman is survived by his wife Dolores; daughters Susan and Sandra, both of Chicago and Veronica of Honolulu, Hawaii; grandchildren Nicole Theisen of Canton, and Eric and Adam Cardamone of Macomb; brothers Rene “Joe” (Clara) of Sand Point, Lionel (Jenny) of Sterling Heights, Philip of Sterling Heights and sister Lorette (Joe) Pawloske of Sand Point.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Pamela Cardamone, brother Antonio and sister Lorraine Krumholz.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 21st at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Fr. Ken Yaroch officiating.
Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM Monday. Memorials may be made to the St. Roch Catholic Church.
