Norman Joseph Pepin

Norman Joseph Pepin of Vassar, age 86, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Vassar Comfort Care, surrounded by his loving family. Norm was born May 7, 1937 in Escanaba, the son of the late Norman & Isabelle (Grabowski) Pepin. He was employed for thirty-one years with General Motors at the Malleable Iron Plant in Saginaw, retiring in 1985. He was united in marriage with Connie J. Mell in 1977, and she survives. Norm was an avid fisherman and hunter, as well as a devoted family man.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-six years, Connie J. Pepin of Vassar; four children; three stepchildren; many grandchildren and step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.

In keeping with Norm’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Pepin family, c/o Connie Pepin, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
