Olga J. Filip

Olga J. Filip, age 93 of Macomb Township (formerly of Bay Port), passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights.
She was born December 14, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Mike and Josephine J. (Gugulska) Politica. In 1941, she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Filip in Boise, Idaho. He preceded her in death in December 1982.
Olga worked as a Bookkeeper for the Boy Scouts of America before her retirement.
She is survived by son, Thomas J. (Kathryn) Filip Jr., Camden Maine; a grandson, Thomas J. Filip III and great-grandchildren Aaron T. Filip and Rachael Mae Filip. She was preceded in death by her son James M. Filip.
Burial will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in the New Bay Port Cemetery.
