Ora Hager

Ora Hager, age 81 years, of Caro, formerly of Watrousville, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Caro Community Hospital. She was born on December 14, 1925 at Switzer, West Virginia. On December 24, 1946, Ora Frye married Gordon Hager in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Her family was her life. She is survived by seven children, Carol S. Fox of South Carolina, Gordon M. Hager, Jr. and Viola of Auburn Hills, Everett Hager and Patricia of Caro, Mary “Cindy” Wells and Peter of Caro, Abslome Hager and Yvonne of Mayville, James Hager of Caro, Ruth Hayes of Caro; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Johnson and Mary (Steele) Frye, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; her eight siblings; and two sons-in-law, Gerald Fox and Gary Hayes. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Spears officiating. Burial will be at Perry Mount Cemetery and Crematory, Pontiac, Michigan. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Ora Hager family discretionary fund, c/o Mary Wells.
