Orabelle Murdoch

OraBelle Murdoch, age 83, of Caseville died Friday, January 2, at Covenant Health Care, Cooper in Saginaw.
She was born September 26, 1920 in Sebewaing at the home of her parents, the late Wilbert and Martha (Eichler) Beck.
OraBelle grew up and lived in western Huron County all her life. On March 1, 1941 she was united in marriage to Howard C. Murdoch at her parents home in Sebewaing. Howard preceded her in death, March 14, 1994.
She attended the Hayes United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her friends and especially her family.
Surviving are six children, Marilyn (William) Crane of Saginaw, James (Kathy) Murdoch of Caseville Constance Abraham of Sutton, WV, Beverly (Dennis) Herford of Elkton, Barbara (Carl) Weigle of Greenbush and Larry (Nina) Murdoch of Caseville; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and her sister, Vera Beach of Pigeon.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, January 10, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Caseville. Rev. Douglas Mater, pastor of Hayes United Methodist Church will officiate with burial in the Caseville Twp. Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to: Bay Shore Camp or Scheurer Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Friday and after 10 AM Saturday.
