Patricia Elaine Boik

Patricia Elaine Boik, age 83, of Bay Port, passed away at home on hospice care on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Patricia was born in Egan, Tennessee, on April 11, 1942, to Chester and June (Sievers) Thornton. After graduating from high school, she married Dale H. Boik on February 16, 1963, in Detroit. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2015. Pat helped run the family craft business, K & B Country Creations, in Sebewaing. She also enjoyed sewing, fishing, working in the yard, working crossword puzzles and talking to her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Steve) Kelcher of Sebewaing; daughter-in-law, Susan Boik, two granddaughters: Caitlin (Kyle) Hacker and Casey Boik; great grandson, Evren Hacker; sister, Deborah Adams; and nieces and nephews, especially Chuck Thornton.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Dale Boik, and siblings: Bill Thornton and Barbara Pitrowski.

Per Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Heartland Hospice.
