PATRICIA A. BURGOYNE , 82, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro.

Patricia (Pat) was born June 13, 1940 to Allen and Mildred (Reed) Sullivan. In 1957, she graduated from Unionville High School. She married the late Harry Schumacher in 1960 and they had two daughters, Renee and Jan. In 1999, she married William Burgoyne. They enjoyed life together, traveling and spending time with their many friends. Pat was an active member of Our Lady Consolata Parish (previously Holy Family) in Sebewaing, having been a Catechism Teacher, Lector, active member of the Women's Circle and various other things. Pat held many positions at USA Schools, including in the Audio Visual Department, the Kitchen, Library and eventually as the Guidance Secretary in the Middle School Guidance Office. She had a special connection with the students and enjoyed her many positions very much. Some of her hobbies included ceramics, crocheting and baking, especially at Christmas. She had a way of making friends wherever she went. She also enjoyed attending all of her grandchildrens' sporting events. Pat was a wonderful Mom and Grandma, creating precious memories for all her children and grandchildren to cherish.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Bill, children, Renee Francisco of Sebewaing and Janice (Robert) Donajkowski of Bay City; step-children Mike (Colleen) Burgoyne, Kevin (Sheila) Burgoyne and Ken (Kay) Burgoyne; grandchildren, David A. Ondrajka of Unionville, Tricia (AJ) Osentoski of Ubly, Amanda (Michael) Halpin of Paw Paw and Brandon (Katherine) Donajkowski of Grand Rapids, step-grandchildren, Karen (Jason) Reid, Ann Marie Burgoyne, fiance Michael Schmidt, Derek Burgoyne, Melissa (Dennis) Mansfield, Sydney Smogger, Logan (Angie) Smogger and Natalie Burgoyne; greatgrandchildren, Saige, Sawyer and Sailor Ondrajka, Chandler, Carson and Camden Osentoski, Michael Halpin, Kaydin and Kaitlyn Reid and expecting another greatgrandchild in November; sister, Michele Pomeroy of Imlay City; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Mildred Sullivan, sister and brother-in-law June (Don) Tyrrell and half-brother Sydney Zink.

Visitation will be at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 3-8pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Our Lady Consolata Parish in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorial donations may be given to Our Lady Consolata or American Cancer Society.
