Patricia Christie

Patricia “Trish” Christie, age 51, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Marlette Community Hospital, following a lingering illness. Trish was born January 16, 1956 in Marlette, the daughter of Charles F. & Mary “Lou” (Price) Christie. She was raised in Kingston, graduating from Kingston High School in 1974 and Northern Michigan University in 1979. Trish returned to Kingston and was employed with the Human Development Commission in Caro from 1979 to 1995. She then was appointed Director of the Dickerson Iron Community Services in Iron Mountain, Michigan for the last twelve years. Trish was very involved with several Iron Mountain community boards and committees, enjoyed working in her flower garden, and spending time with her two cats and her dearly loved nieces. Trish is survived by her mother, Mary “Lou” Christie of Kingston; one sister and her husband, Leigh and Gene Anderson of Lapeer; two nieces, and six great nieces and nephews; a dear special friend, Kim LaFond and many close friends. Trish was preceded in death by her father, Charles Christie in 1994 and a very beloved niece, Heather Anderson in 1990.
