Patricia Ann (Cutter) Hager

Patricia Ann (Cutter) Hager of Caro, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 while at home. She was born on March 5, 1950 in Cumberland, Maryland, the daughter of the late Robert and Rose (Green) Cutter. She graduated from Northern Pontiac Highschool with the Class of 1968.

In 1967, Pat met the love of her life, Everett Hager, at a friend’s birthday party. Their love story continued, and on December 12, 1969, they were married at the courthouse in Pontiac. Together, they raised three wonderful children and built a home filled with love and cherished memories. Early in their marriage, Pat took on the responsibility of caring for their growing family while Everett served in the Vietnam War. It was no small task for a young wife and mother, but Pat embraced the challenges with strength and dedication to her family.

Pat had a special way of making the holidays memorable and was always a loving and supportive presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Whether cheering from the sidelines at football games or attending wrestling matches, she took great pride in being there for her family. In her free time, Pat enjoyed playing bingo, taking cruises, and traveling to Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach. She and Everett also treasured life's simpler moments, especially sharing dinner together and ending the evening relaxing in front of a good television show. Above all, Pat found her greatest happiness in the family she loved so dearly.

Left to cherish Pat’s memory, is her loving husband of fifty-six years, Everett Hager; children, Charlene Hager, Robert & Melissa Hager, and Darnisha & Ryan McLellan; grandchildren, Deklan, Weston, and Ora; siblings, Darlene Pena, Denise & Robert Reyna, John & Tracy Cutter, and Rheta Beeler; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert Cutter, Jr. and James Cutter.

Pat’s funeral service will be on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ransford Funeral Home in Caro. Rev. Michele Hile will officiate. At a later date, Pat will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. The family will be present to receive visitors on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.
