Patricia J. (Dubey) Braun

Patricia J. (Hill) Dubey- Braun age 68, of Essexville, formerly of Elkton passed away Friday morning, June 29, at her daughter’s home in Caseville after a long battle with cancer.

She was born October 6, 1943 at her Grandmother Roth’s home in Elkton to the late Robert and Beatrice (Roth) Hill. She grew up in Elkton and was a 1961 graduate of Laker High School.
On February 11, 1961, she was united in marriage to Robert Dubey at the Elkton United Methodist Church. She lived, worked and raised their family in Elkton. Bob preceded her in death April 25, 1985. She married Neil W. Braun on March 3, 1990 and moved to Essexville. Neil also preceded her in death, April 13, 2008.

Patricia will be remembered as a loving and fun spirited mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She worked for many years at Team One Credit Union (formerly Active Credit Union) in Elkton and in Saginaw, retiring in 2004. Pat was a very devoted member of her church, with a strong faith in her Lord. She found much joy in spending time with her family, making jewelry, playing games, traveling and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Surviving are her children, Kimberly Fritz of Caseville, Todd (Kay) Dubey of Grant Twp., Troy (Alina) Dubey of Vassar, Michelle (Mike) Lutz of Auburn, Doug Braun of Southgate and Theresa Hoppe of Muskegon; grandchildren, Brandon (Fiancée, Nicole), Emalee and Kelsey Fritz, Amanda, Chelsea, Rachelle and Kaitlyn Dubey, Jason and Nicholas Lutz-Pressler, Heidi Braun, Amanda Hoppe and Mindy (Aaron Hoppe-Macheske; her sisters, Barbara (Bill) Lackie of Chandler Twp., Kathy (Tom) Meager of Royal Oak and Jeri Herron of Holt; her brother, Steven (Lynn) Hill of Pigeon and sister-in-law, Janet Hill of Pigeon.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Robbie Hill in August of 1985 and Lewis Hill in March of this year.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, July 2, at the Elkton United Methodist Church. Rev. Jonathan Boyer, pastor of New Life Missionary Church, Bay City will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.

Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 9 PM Sunday and at the Church after 10 AM Monday.
Memorials may be given to the New Life Missionary Church or Elkton United Methodist Church
