Patricia C. Fancher, 77, of Caseville, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.
Pat was born April 7, 1938 in Detroit to the late Thomas and Betty (Fitzgibbon) Pecha. She was a 1956 graduate of Denby High School, Detroit. She first began visiting Caseville in the 1940's. Over the years she lived in Caseville several times before moving there permanently in 1991. She was an active member of St. John Episcopal Church on Sand Point, where she was the organist. She trained for music at the Detroit Conservatory of Music, and she shared her love of music both at church and with many piano students she taught. She also worked at the Pigeon Library.
She is survived by her special friend James McCallum; children Chip James Drake of Caseville, Linda Ferguson (Robert Elznic) of New York, Thomas Schweninger of Caseville and Michelle (Bill) Crippen of Stanton; grandchildren Chad, Dana, Kevin, Kendra, Katie, Logan, Ally and Alexis; and sister Terri Talaski of Bad Axe. She was preceded in death by her late husbands: Dan Drake, Rich Schweninger and Gerald Fancher.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, April 16th at St. John Episcopal Church on Sand Point. Burial will be in Caseville Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 pm Wednesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville and one hour prior to services at church on Thursday.
